TPS7A4901DGNR / MSOP-8 / LDO Voltage Regulators
The TPS7A49 series of devices are positive, high-voltage (36 V), ultralow-noise (15.4 uVRMs, 72-dBPSRR) linear regulators that can source a 150-mAload.
These linear regulators include a CMOS logic-levelcompatible enable pin and capacitor-programmablesoft-start function that allows for customized powermanagement schemes. Other available featuresinclude built-in current limit and thermal shutdownprotection to safeguard the device and system duringfault conditions.
The TPS7A49 family is designed using bipolartechnology, and is ideal for high-accuracy, highprecision instrumentation applications where cleanvoltage rails are critical to maximize systemperformance. This design makes the device anexcellent choice to power operational amplifiersanalog-to-digital converters (ADCs),digital-to-analogconverters (DACs), and other high-performanceanalog circuitry.
In addition, the TPS7A49 family of linear regulators issuitable for post dc-dc converter regulation. Byfiltering out the output voltage ripple inherent to dc-dcswitching conversion, maximum system performanceis provided in sensitive instrumentation, test andmeasurement, audio, and RF applications.
